Comicon's are not just an alternative show for the fanatics anymore. Increasing in popularity every year we have seen these shows grow and get better and better. Our first experience with a Comicon was doing a Karries Kostumes work trip to check out
The Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo
Wow, were we amazed! There were thousands of attendees with the majority being dressed up, even if just in a wig or animal ears. Not to mention the Cosplayers that dress up as their favorite character and have every last detail down pat! Everyone was excited and having a great time. Lots of amazing booths to check out from handmade jewelry to the craziest Lego displays you've ever seen to superhero figurines to leather work and so much more. There really is something for everyone!
We then decided to join
The Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo which is run by the same organizers. We have seen a huge growth in this show since it started in 2012. The exhibitors are getting better, the guests, the whole show overall. The attendees have gone up each year by about
10, 000 people! We are very excited to be exhibiting at the show for the 4th year this September 25th - 27th 2015. Make sure to bring your camera to take a picture with our Chewy or one of your favorite childhood characters!

Even St. Albert has it's own show now,
Eek! Comic and Pop Culture Fest which will be running it's third year June 4th and 5th 2016.
